This is because it’s not a primary console. This user cannot play this software. Switch b can create however many users they want and be able to access any games they want without that same restriction.

After That I Wasn't Able To Play Any Game Since It Started Saying This User Cannot Play This Software When Trying To Start A Game After Being Connected To The Internet And Without Any Internet, It Just Tries To Connect Online.i Saved Everything On Checkpoint And Backed Up My Sd Card On A Computer And Formatted My Switch,Same Exact Message Popped Up After Installing.


If you are unable to access certain games in your console all of a sudden, it is best to restart. Best way but you need internet connections!! New horizons, but once the game finally downloaded we faced a couple days of frustration and disappointment due to the console announcing this user cannot play this.

If You Have Not Purchased.


I have a 3ds but this is my only switch. Your spouse or nephew that comes to visit, creates a user name on your switch, will not be able to play any of the games that are downloaded to that switch. Because the console is not the primary console for the nintendo account that originally purchased the software, software purchased with that account is not playable on the console.

Delete the game if you want and reinstall the game. Not sure how that's possible. Restart the nintendo switch console.
